Funder pitch deck
Leave a Little Love
One family, the southernmost point to the northernmost point, helping a community in every chapter along the way.
- Departure
- April 2027
- Length
- 56 days on the road
- Funding target
- $53,852
The idea
A journey people can follow, and a community that gets something real in every place we stop.
Two parents and two little boys drive the coast from the southernmost point to the northernmost point. In each region we partner with local people on a cause they already care about — a cleanup, a supply drive, a morning of help — and we tell that story well.
Funders back a chapter, not a road trip.
Why it works
Three things make this different
The community decides the work
We ask what would actually help before we arrive, then we do that. Nothing is staged and nothing is imposed.
A family people trust
Multigenerational, unpolished and honest. Kindness as the plan, not the afterthought — that is the whole story.
Every dollar has a place
The trip is split into twelve funded chapters, each with a named partner region, a specific need and a clear cost.

The plan
Twelve chapters, twelve communities

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Florida Keys Marine Stewardship | Reef/ocean education + family-safe service | $1,500 | $3,000 |
| 2 | South Florida Community Care | Family service + local need | $1,000 | $2,000 |
| 3 | Ponce Inlet Ocean Learning | Marine science + youth education | $1,000 | $2,000 |
| 4 | Savannah + Tybee Coastal Conservation | Beach/marsh cleanup + marine education | $1,500 | $3,000 |
| 5 | Atlanta River Stewardship | Watershed learning + cleanup | $1,000 | $1,800 |
| 6 | Hampton Roads Youth Support | Support for unhoused/at-risk youth | $2,000 | $3,500 |
| 7 | Williamsburg Family Service | Family/community assistance | $1,500 | $2,500 |
| 8 | Outer Banks | Wildlife + coast | $1,000 | $2,000 |
| 9 | CT + Long Island Coastal Cleanup | Shoreline cleanup + public engagement | $1,500 | $3,000 |
| 10 | Rhode Island Community Care | Family-focused service + local need | $1,000 | $2,000 |
| 11 | Massachusetts Family + Community | Early childhood/family support | $1,500 | $3,000 |
| 12 | Maine Finale + St. Pete Homecoming | Stewardship finale + impact recap | $3,000 | $6,000 |
A funder can take a single chapter and see exactly what it pays for.
The money
Three ways this can be funded
| Scenario | What it means | Core travel | Community impact | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum viable | Core travel + lean service activations | $20,052 | $17,500 | $37,552 |
| Target | Healthy travel budget + meaningful chapter funding | $20,052 | $33,800 | $53,852 |
| Full impact | Stronger community gifts + production + contingency | $20,052 | $51,000 | $71,052 |
Core travel is costed line by line at $20,052 in the master budget. Target scenario: $53,852.
The ask
Where the target comes from
| Lane | Target | Share | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grants + foundations | $18,848 | 35% | Use chapter-specific asks |
| Vehicle + fuel | $9,693 | 18% | Prioritize in-kind offsets |
| Lodging + hospitality | $10,770 | 20% | Every hosted night lowers cash need |
| Brands + corporate giving | $9,155 | 17% | Cash + strategically useful in-kind |
| Local business / community | $5,385 | 10% | Fund individual chapters |
In-kind lodging, fuel and vehicle support directly reduce the cash we have to raise.
The ask
Ways to support
| Level | What it covers |
|---|---|
| $500 | Supplies and direct community goods for one stop |
| $1,500 | Underwrite a small service chapter start to finish |
| $3,000 | Fund a full local impact activation |
| $5,000 | Major chapter or whole-route support |
In-kind support — nights, fuel, vehicle, supplies — is welcome at any level and often more useful than cash.
What partners get
What we give back
The story, told properly
Photo and video from the stop, written up and shared with the partner to use freely.
Named credit
Chapter sponsors are named in the chapter recap, the route map and the final impact recap.
Local press
A regional media list is already built, and every stop is pitched to outlets in that community.
An honest account
Real numbers, real outcomes, and a recap of exactly what the money did.
In our words
We're not trying to check places off a map. We're trying to slow down long enough to actually be in them — and to leave each one a little better than we found it.
